Early editions of Kaleidoscope were created through the financial sponsorship of North Adams stores and companies. This particular edition was sponsored in part by Sprague Electric, which was a massive employer in the city and formerly operated out of the buildings that currently house the Massachusetts Museum of Contemporary Art (MASS MoCA).
