The first ever publication of Kaleidoscope magazine features a very home-made, grungy aesthetic and set the precedent for black and white photo covers for the magazine. Subsequent magazines have experimented with other styles of cover, but black and white images/drawings remain consistent throughout both Kaleidoscope and Spires.
