It is unknown how many people actually graduated from the nurse training school in 1896. Pictured here are nine young women, but the record from 1935, lists only six graduates. However, it is important to consider the how non-descriptive the 1935 record is for the earliest graduate classes—they state only whether the graduate is married or dead, not her occupation.
